Since 1984, Stack Rock Ranch has been family-owned and operated.
This allows us to achieve legendary quality & taste from the finest cattle raised on our pastures.
Gold is discovered in the Boise Basin. Gold prospectors pass through Stack Rock land to get to the mines.
1862
An Englishman,
Mason purchases the land, builds a home, and ranches the land until 1942
1901
Darol develops the land & he starts improving springs, creating water reservoirs, planting trees and pasture grass, and adding buildings.
1986
Darol passes away peacefully in his beloved home. His son, John, takes over and works toward raising world-class, premium beef.
2017
The legacy Continues as Stack Rock brings premium, pasture-raised meat from our family to you.
